WE ARE OVERCOMERS
He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. (Rev. 21:7)
Grandma left some treasures for me when she passed away in 1988. Depression glassware from her wedding, a faded teacup and saucer, Grandpa's radio that pulled in stations from overseas, a few favorite recipes, and her ivory lace tablecloth became mine. These me mentos were dear to me when I was younger, but mean even more to me now. Whenever I use my inheritance gifts from Grandma, I'm reminded of her tender love and care for me.
As exciting as it is to receive an inheritance from our loved ones, God has prepared an incredible inheritance for us that surpasses our imagination. It comes with one condition: that we overcome.
How do you overcome? Place God first in your life and follow His path each day. Ask Him for wisdom when you are faced with small or large decisions. Keep following Him even when life's problems seem overwhelming. When you wonder if God still loves you, keep the faith. Remember the hardships of Bible heroes: Joseph, Paul, Queen Esther, and Job. Yet all were overcomers when faced with the pressures of life. We don't fully understand God's big picture of why He allows struggles in our lives. But you and I are overcomers—and the best is yet to come!

Thank God for daily strength, the ability to overcome, and your inheritance.
