GOD MAKES A DIFFERENCE

 

He is able to save completely those who come to God through him . . .

The Guinness Book of Records tells of a man named Joe who is the world's greatest automobile salesman. He didn’t start out that way. Joe was raised in a poor family. His father was mean to him and told Joe he was no good. Joe joined a gang and got into trouble. Finally, he married a girl who stuck with him through everything. But he was still a failure.

 

One night, he came home and had to climb over the backyard fence because there was a court representative at the front door. His wife told him they had no money and no food for the children. In despair, Joe fell on his knees in the living room. "Dear Lord, are you going to tell me I'm no good, too?" That night, he turned his life over completely to God.

 

Then Joe had the idea that he was to go to a certain place and ask the man to let him sell cars. He did this, was given a job and, at first, had no success. But God told him to be patient and shortly afterward, he made his first sale. He went on to become the world's greatest car salesman!

 

God doesn't always give a person such dramatic success. But He does transform people, and He works in the lives of His children.

 

Life response: I will turn every area of my life over to God.
