STILL onLY ONE WAY

 

There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved
(Acts 4:12 NKJV).

 

Have you been in a secular bookstore recently? Visit one and ask to see the section on New Age literature. Well-known authors have popularized some ancient beliefs, and now many people in America believe in such things as reincarnation and channeling. New Age concepts are accepted in many businesses as necessary for success.

 

To make matters worse, various aspects of New Age thought are infiltrating a shallow and biblically illiterate church under the guise of psychology, the science of the mind and inner healing.

 

Radical and liberal theologians argue that all religions, including Christianity, are basically human in origin. They believe that each religion has some valid insights into the meaning of life, but that each, including Christianity, is encrusted with superstition and error. one team of authors has written a book promoting the

"plurality" of religion. When asked if a person can be saved by some other name than Jesus, they reply, "Yes, there are other ways . . . you can still be a Christian and believe that."

 

But God's Word has not changed, and we must understand that Jesus alone can bring salvation.
