Batteries Included

 

I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

There’s no power shortage for the child of God. What was prophesied in the earliest pages of the Bible was fulfilled after the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He sent His Holy Spirit to seal the promise of forgiveness, guide us in understanding the Bible, and serve as the down payment on our eternal future. God included spiritual batteries when you received Christ into your life. You received the power to obey what you know to be God’s will, strength to overcome the attacks of the enemy, Satan, and a current of peace that continually runs through your spirit when you face life’s worst. Though His Spirit may not yet have all of you, you have all of Him—right now.

 

Lord, thank You for including the batteries with your gift of salvation. I claim Your power to be everything You want me to be. In Your name I pray. Amen.
