like a nobody. Often people have a sense of worthlessness because they see
themselves as insignificant, unimportant. They think of themselves as pygmies in
a land of giants. All around them they see heroes and rising stars destined for
success.

unnamed. He knew who the seven thousand were in Elijah's day who had not bowed
the knee to Baal. Many unnamed people have had key roles in the success of
others. (Who were the parents of Daniel who inspired and instructed their son to
stand firm for God? Who was the elderly lady who prayed for Billy Graham for
over twenty years? Who financed William Carey's ministry in
We know the names of the
great heroes, the giants, but behind the scenes were countless hidden saints who
helped them become heroes for God. In Hebrews, chapter eleven, many unnamed
heroes are included in Faith's Hall of Fame. There were those who worked
righteousness and obtained promises as well as those who stopped the mouths of
lions! You may feel unnamed, but you are an important person in God’s
plan.
Life response: I will view my life as significant in God’s master plan.
