Second Chance
Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has
come!
—2 Corinthians
5:17
Some people would trade a fortune to
get a second chance in life. You received yours free of charge. When you
confessed your sin to Christ in a spirit of sorrow, He traded it for forgiveness
and joy in a spirit of love. Refuse to let the enemy of your faith press the rewind button on your life. God erased
the tape, and He’ll never try to remember what was on it. If the devil tries to
air an instant replay of some attitude or action in your mind, remind him that
God has already made a final ruling in your favor.
Dear Father, help me to think and to
live in the newness of life that You have given to me. Thank You for giving me a
second chance. I pledge to live my life as a new person in Christ Jesus.
