Jesus First

 

“What about you?” he [Jesus] asked. “Who do you say I am?”

—Matthew 16:15

 

"Who is Jesus?" is a more important question than "What would Jesus do?" (WWJD). Jesus is the only Son of God, the only Savior, the only source of forgiveness and eternal life. He is the object of our faith. Every part of our spiritual strength is dependent upon Him. Every spiritual hope is centered in Him. What Jesus would do has already been revealed. His life is clearly seen in the Bible. He created all things, and He sustains all things. In fact, He is the only way to peace with God. Christ-centered living is victorious living. Sing about Him. Talk about Him. Read about Him. Think about Him.

 

Putting Jesus first in your life is the most important thing you will ever do.

 

Lord Jesus, I praise You for who You are. I praise You for what You’ve done.

And I praise You for the opportunity to follow You in every activity of my life. Amen.
