DIRECTION

 

Is it possible to know God’s will? Certainly He guided people like Moses, David, and the Apostle Paul, but does He still direct our lives today? God’s Word says that He does. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Prov. 3:5–6). These days, we really need God’s direction for our families and ourselves, don’t we?

 

These are difficult times, but, there are some things we can do to find God’s direction: Trust in the Lord (have faith)

Don’t lean on your own understanding (be humble)

Acknowledge God in everything (obey)

 

God does have a blueprint for our lives, but He needs our cooperation. The formula is simple: trust and obey. We can never be more content with our lives than if they are directed by God himself.
