Just Let It Rip

시편 150:1-6 (쉬운성경, NASB)

 

1. 여호와를 찬양하십시오, 주의 성전에서 하나님을 찬양하십시오. 주의 크신 하늘에서 그분을 찬양하십시오.

Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse.

 

2. 주께서 하신 능력 있는 일들에 대해서 주를 찬양하십시오. 주의 뛰어난 위대하심에 대해서 주를 찬양하십시오. 

Praise Him for His mighty deeds; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

 

3. 나팔 소리로 주를 찬양하며, 비파와 수금으로 주를 찬양하십시오. 

 Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre.

 

4. 소고 치고 춤추어 주를 찬양하며, 현악기들과 퉁소로 주를 찬양하십시오. 

Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe. 

 

5. 제금을 치며 주를 찬양하며, 울려 퍼지는 제금으로 주를 찬양하십시오. 

 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals.

 

6. 숨을 쉬는 모든 것들이여, 여호와를 찬양하십시오. 여호와를 찬양하십시오! 

 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!

 

 

HAVE YOU EVER just praised the Lord? Just let go and let God know how you feel about Him? In my early days as a Christian, I worked at a beach project where we tried to lead vacationers at the ocean to Christ. We spent our days walking the beach and talking to the sunbathers. All in all, it was a lot of fun. At night, we trekked back to the little chapel where we met for worship. There, right on the boardwalk, we spoke of great triumphs and people we wanted to pray for and had interesting discussions. one afternoon our leaders talked to us about how we needed to hate sin and reject it and repent of it. We repented and asked for God's blessing. But suddenly, I realized I didn't want to hate sin as much as I wanted to love God. I began telling the Lord how much I loved Him. Soon, we all leapt to our feet, lifted our hands, and praised God with exuberance and freedom. It was one of the most exciting times of worship I had ever known. Have you experienced times like that in your church and life? Do you need a little enthusiasm and joy to infuse your worship times? Use this psalm to praise God. Do the things it says, and God himself will fill you and lift you up.
