Safe On All Sides

 오늘의 말씀

 

시편 25:15-22 (쉬운성경, NASB)

 

15. 내가 언제나 여호와를 바라봅니다. 왜냐하면 내가 덫에 걸리지 않도록 막아 주실 분이 주님밖에 없기 때문입니다.

My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

 

16. 나를 돌아보시고 불쌍히 여겨 주소서. 내가 외롭고 괴롭습니다. 

Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

 

17. 마음의 고통이 말할 수 없이 크오니 나를 이 괴로움에서 벗어나게 하여 주소서. 

 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses.     

 

18. 내 고통과 괴로움을 보소서. 내 모든 죄를 용서해 주소서. 

 Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins.

 

19. 보십시오! 내 원수가 참으로 많습니다. 그들이 나를 얼마나 미워하는지 보십시오. 

 Look upon my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with violent hatred.

 

20. 내 생명을 지키시고 구원해 주소서. 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 해 주소서. 내가 주님께 피합니다. 

 Guard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.

 

21. 순수하고 올바르게 살겠습니다. 나를 보호하여 주소서. 나의 소망이 오직 주님께 있습니다. 

 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.

 

22. 오 하나님, 이스라엘을 모든 고통과 괴로움에서 건져 주소서! 

 Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all his troubles.

 

 

 WHENEVER THE PRESIDENT of the United States goes out in public, he is surrounded by Secret Service agents. These highly trained agents take an oath to protect the President at any cost, even if that means they give their lives to save his. They usually try to blend in with the crowd and not draw attention to themselves, but they constantly scan the crowd and the surrounding area, looking for any sign that the President may be in danger. At the slightest sign of trouble, they quickly move to guard him and remove the potential problem. Even though they stay in the background, they form a wall of security that allows the President to move about freely. When Satan approached God about testing Job, he noted that God had built a hedge of protection around Job. God also was present in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to keep them from harm. David called God his strong tower and his refuge. All of these men knew God's amazing power, strength, and protection would never fail them. Are you feeling weak? Defenseless? Vulnerable to the Enemy? God will not leave us to fight our battles alone. He may seem to linger in the background, but He is ever vigilant when watching over His children, and His help is always right on time.
