"Yes We Can"

Scripture Text:"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Do you remember the Election Campaign of the sitting President of these United States in 2008.

CHANGE YOU CAN COUNT on!!!

YES WE CAN!!!

Well, statistics are showing that over 90 percent of Americans are not pleased with the job this president is doing, and over 20 million Americans have no confidence in this President to do his job anymore and are even calling for his resignation. (That number is expected to grow over the next 4 to 5 months)

Aren't you glad that in God there is no need to wonder? 2 Corinthians 1:20 says,

"For all the promises of God 'in him' are yea, and 'in him' Amen, unto the glory of God by us."

In each case that "in him" suggests a relationship... of what God can and will do if you will act in faith. But hear me here: It's not vision we lack, it's RESOLVE!

If we are to make a change in our lives today, we need to learn to do our part. Jesus has issued the invitation,

"Come to My table; eat of My flesh. drink of My blood. Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you." (ref., John 6)

I want to make a specific point here today and I hope that I can do it justice. All the elements needed for a CHANGE in your life today have been provided by God - for YOU! The promise of your harvest - is in Him. The promise for your healing - is in Him. The promise for your prosperity - is in Him. If you base your need in anyone or anything other than Christ it will not have any lasting effect. Most importantly... the promise for your eternal inheritance is found in Christ alone.

The next time you don't know which way to turn and need a change in your life situation remember... "in Jesus" WE CAN! YES! WE CAN!!

Father, I'm excited about what you're doing in my life and what you're about to do. Teach me your ways and help me to realize that what I am and what I can be always begins with how much of my life I have surrendered to you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
