LEARN TO TRUST

Dr. E. Stanley Jones tells
about a poor man who had an overnight guest. As he showed his visitor to the
humble bedroom in the hayloft, the poor man said, "If there is anything else you
want, let us know, and we'll show you how to get along without
it."

compared our living standard with that of businessmen and professional people in
the churches we pastored. They would ask, "Are we poor?" We always answered,
"No, we're not poor, we're rich! We have each other, love and God. What more
would you want in life?"
